Is this real-money gambling?
No. Book Move is an educational basic-strategy trainer. There is no betting, no chips, no wagering, and no real-money play of any kind — you practice the correct decision for each hand and the app tracks your accuracy.
What do the three hint modes do?
Always-show displays the book move before you act (learning). Reveal-after lets you act first, then shows whether you matched (practice). Hidden shows nothing until later (test mode). Accuracy is only counted in Reveal-after and Hidden, so Always-show won't pad your stats.
How do I sync across devices?
Book Move uses iCloud. As long as your devices are signed into the same Apple ID with iCloud enabled, your decision history appears on all of them automatically. Your data syncs through your own private iCloud account — Materia Labs never sees it.
How do I reset my stats?
Open Settings inside the app. You can reset your session stats or clear your full lifetime decision history there.
Which rule sets are supported?
Four presets: Strip (6D S17), Downtown (6D H17, late surrender), Atlantic City (8D H17, late surrender), and Reno (2D H17). The correct strategy adjusts to whichever rule set you choose, and each decision is tagged with the rule set it was made under.
What data does Book Move collect?
None. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics or tracking, and no third-party data sharing. See the Book Move privacy policy for details.
Is there a web or Android version?
Not currently. Book Move is iOS-only for now.
