Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of apps, websites, and services provided by Materia Labs LLC ("Materia Labs," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using a Materia Labs service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting access to your account, and all activity under it. You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You may not use another person's account without permission.

You retain ownership of collection records, portfolio details, watchlists, notes, purchase-price information, and other content you enter or import. You grant Materia Labs a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display that content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.

You are responsible for the content you submit and for having the right to use it. You can delete supported content or your account through the applicable app. Our handling of account and app data is described in the Privacy Policy.

Card prices, market movements, portfolio values, historical charts, and similar information are estimates assembled from third-party data. They may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or incorrect and do not represent an offer to buy or sell.

Materia Labs does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You are solely responsible for decisions made using the service and should independently verify information before buying, selling, insuring, or valuing property.

You agree not to:

• use the service in violation of law or another person's rights;
• attempt to access accounts, systems, or data without authorization;
• interfere with, overload, scrape, or reverse engineer the service except where law expressly permits it;
• upload malicious code or use the service to distribute spam or abuse;
• misrepresent affiliation with Materia Labs or use the service to commit fraud.

The service may use or link to third-party authentication providers, hosting services, card catalogs, images, marketplaces, and websites. We do not control third-party services, and their terms and privacy policies may apply. Availability of third-party data or links is not an endorsement or guarantee.

The service, including its software, design, branding, and original content, is owned by Materia Labs or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership to you.

You may stop using the service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, comply with law, investigate abuse, or address a material violation of these Terms. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features and may update these Terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide reasonable notice through the service or another appropriate channel. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available." Materia Labs disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Materia Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
